    I have been told to be careful when running nitrous with the A9P CPU . I have an 89 which I converted to 5 speed but still use this cpu . From what I understand timing is added differently with this cpu and is not good to use with nitrous . Any truth to this? I'll be adding a dry kit 75-150...

    You can get a good used set of Gt-40's fairly cheap . Good bang for the buck heads which can be matched to B or E cam . When you upgrade heads/cam there are supporting mods that need to be done fuel pump , injectors...etc . So best bet is save your cash and do it all at once....not just a cam .

    You dont need tall valve covers to clear your 1.6's . I have cobra 1.7's and regular (short) valve covers fit fine . Those are "tall" covers which will not work with your application without atleast a 1" spacer , then you could run into hood clearance issues . You can find aftermarket covers...
