Horn goes off when i turn the wheel

I agree with 2BADSTANGS. If you have a horn problem and an airbag light the clockspring will be your problem.

    Dakota Digital fan controller

As I posted earlier, I am going to do the 3G upgrade on my 91 LX. Since I will have the charging system up to snuff I am thinking of adding an e-fan, most likely a taurus fan. I have been researching fan controllers that would allow me to use the dual speed fan. Has anyone ever tried the...

    What vehicles had a 130A 6G?

Does anyone know what vehicles if any came with a 130 amp 6G alternator. I want to upgrade from the stock one on my 91 LX 5.0. I have heard the 6G creates less heat, takes less power to turn, and bolts on with no bracket grinding unlike the 3G. I will go with a 3G if I can't find a 130 amp...

brain fart after 3 yrs 3grand car runs but white smoke idles high!! please help

You can be burning coolant and not be getting any in the oil. I would check compression to see if you have a low cylinder. Another thing you can do is run the car with the rad cap off and the rad full and see if there are bubbles coming out in the coolant. Once the cooling system is bled you...

what causes a bent valve? friend thinks i might have one

It is possible your balancer has spun and therefore your timing will be out. I have seen them spin slightly so you can still set timing although it will be way out.

    Tilt Forward Hood..

It would be different. You could also look at late 80's - early 90's Oldsmobiles and Buicks. Some of these had a tilt formard hood. You may be able to adapt the hinges and latches.

    Installing caster camber plates...

Unless you get the top of the strut in the exact spot it was, your caster, camber and toe will likely all be out. Even though you didn't move you tie-rods, any time camber changes, toe changes. Any good alignment shop should do your alignment since adding the plates makes the alignment easier...

    pinion?

Sounds like the oil is leaking through the splines on the pinion gear. I would remove the flange, replace the seal while your there and put some silicone on the splines where the flange goes on. This will cure your problem.

    Bad Mod

I would check with you local Ford dealer as there are new programming flashes very often. There may be one that will fix your problem.

Can I reverse my M/C ports?

Yes it matters. The bore size is different to accomidate the needs of each brake setup. The bore for the front brakes is usually bigger as the front calipers need more fluid volume due to the bigger pistons.

    5.4

It does fit but it is tight. You still need everyting you need to install a 4.6 i.e. tubular k-member, hydraboost brakes, etc, plus one big cowl hood to fit it under.

    replaced heater core.......already leaking.

Did you re-use the spring clamps on the hoses? If you did it could be that they are not sealing properly and the leak ends up in the heater box. I have had this happen many times and now I always use screw type clamps whenever I replace any heater core.

    Whats this sensor for???

That is you engine coolant temp sensor that sends engine temp to the ECM. You need that sensor somewhere so your engine will run properly.

A4LD to flush or not to flush?

I agree, a flush with clean fluid will do nothing but be good for a trans. I recommend rather than pulling the pan and changing the filter, going to a service center and having it flushed with a machine. The benefit to this is they add a cleaner before flushing the fluid to help flush out all...

Sounds like a possible head gasket.

Steering shaft going through long tubes?

If you have clearance issues you have 2 choices. You can change the headers to a brand that has extra clearance for the steering shaft or you can change the steering shaft. Maximum Motorsports has a nice one for about $200.00.

    head gasket?

Does your cooling system pressurize very quickly after you start the engine? Do you see a never ending stream of small bubbles coming up through the rad with the cap off? These are two indicators of a blown head gasket and are very easy to check.
