I've been just over 145 with my stock hood. It was still there once I slowed down. I recall getting some floating above 100 or so. Probably enhanced with a head-wind. Just adjust those 4 bump stops. That's pretty much it unless you add hood pins. I agree...if you're going over 100 you...

They came with the hood. I don't think the Cervini hoods have them. But the California Dreamin hood did. Also has the ram air duct built into it. That was why I picked it over the Cervini Concept Hood. That said, they look like simple wire grating I've seen at Menards. You could buy some...

I agree they should have paid for your shipping...maybe even compensated you somewhat for your loss. You should take that as a hint to go elsewhere. They don't seem too concerned in ensuring a good customer experience and repeat business. While you have every right to expect it to fit...

Never take a photo where you can see yourself in the reflection. Shady spots during mid-day can really show show off a nice gloss on your paint and even get the reflection of another object. Take the time to consider what will show in the reflected surface of your car.
