    Rocker arm issues

Once all 16 rocker arms are installed to “snug” turn the engine over, clockwise to top dead center (the timing pointer pointed at “0” on the crankshaft) and check the number one cylinder intake and exhaust valves. They should both be closed (you should be able to spin the pushrod). If they are...

NOS Back Fire Issues. Any Ideas on amount of Retard????

I would be concerned where you base timing is set at. Also you don't want the N2o to engage below 3k rpms.

Pulled plugs, 1 is oil fouled

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but to me this sounds like a valve seal. Basically when the car sits, the oil leaks down into the cylinder. Fouling the plug. When the car is running there is not a substantial amount of oil dripping down, so you will not see it burning. Another possibility...

    Cam Timing Question

Not trying to add fuel to your fire, but I can't believe that this is still going on. I read this thread a few weeks back. Sorry to hear about all this. Receipt or not, they should be willing to take back a faulty BBK part. Maybe its time you provide them with a receipt. wink, wink.

The best way to make your stock 5.0 fast?

Nice work, let me see if I can add anything else for you. You need to find about 40 more horses to get to the 12's but your close. 1) Short Belt ? - I would pull the A/C and Smog stuff this will shorten the belt. If you just drive this car to the track and don't have to pull into parking...

    taking stripes off

They do make exact fit stickers, I would check CJ Pony Parts or LRS. I would think they may have white, I will see if I can find them for you. EDIT: For the price this sounds good to me. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/products/1987-93-Mustang-Body-Stripes

    1.7 roller and springs

With the 1.6's your total lift will be as advertised - .498. Going from 1.7 to 1.6 will increase PTV clearance. Stock springs can handle up to .500 lift so you will be running on the edge of tolerance.

What is this? Is it needed?

You really should put a plug on the end of that to close it off.

    Help removing broken bolt please!!!

See if you can get smaller nuts, and do what you said didn't work, put 2 together on it as a jamb nut. I have a large set of vice grips that can get anything out, they are from Sears, and are #1 in my book. Craftsman 7 in. Plier, Locking Straight Jaw

    Cam Timing Question

You really need to just relax, I know its very frustrating. When you first started it seems that your dizzy was just not set right, but now I am not sure where you are at. Here is what you need to do. 1) Re-adjust the rockers. See Step #12 on Page 56 of this link. It does not get any simpler...

    Mustang Cowl Removal

I have seen it done, you may want to check the Corral. It can be done. You will need to be able to weld and drill out spot welds. I'll see if I can find it for you. EDIT: http://forums.stangnet.com/760711-cowl-removal-progress-thread.html

    How to drain fuel tank

If you jumper the relay any junk in the tank is going to run thru your pump and possible clog your pump and sock. Just get a siphon.

You can 100% siphon it out. I've done it, and its fast. (There is no real way to get it all out, but you can get more of it.)

trying to get my motor running

Yes 100% grounds. You need to get all grounds taken care of or it will never run. You would benefit from a $20 Chilton manual, that will help you immensely.

    CEL only at WOT? "lean"

If you did not pull the cam here is what you should do. Pull #1 spark plug, put thumb over spark plug hole, turn engine over until you feel air pushing your thumb out. This is the compression stroke and where you want to be. Once you feel this look at your harmonic balancer and turn the...

    Help regarding Code 94/44

Update Ok so I did some tests, here are the results. Engine running - checked the connector that plugs into the TAB and TAD, at idle and engine just started, I get a complete circuit showing 12.2volts. I would assume this means that the computer and wiring leading up to them are both fine...

    Help regarding Code 94/44

Wow, first off, Thanks a ton. This is great info. I find these parts quoated to be most helpful. I am going to test the computer first, as outlined below. One question on this: In order to test the TAD/TAB solenoids, you need to ground the white/red wire on the TAB solenoid or the light...
