    Clutch cables, quadrants, adjusters???

What aftermarket quadrants, clutch cables, and adjusters will work with the 2.3L T5 setup? I am looking at doing a T5 swap into the Capri and I figure it would be easier to swap the quadrant and everything else out before it all goes under the dash. What setups are you 5 speed guys using...

    Anyone on here on Facebook.com??

Anyone else on here on Facebook.com? If you are, I started a group entitled "Ford 2.3L OHC engines" I want to start a strictly 2.3L OHC non-turbo or turbo forum there. Just an FYI if anyone is interested! Thanks, Ethan.

Timing belt replacement without crank pulley removal??

Well, it is time to do a timing belt replacement on my 88 Mustang 2.3L. I've done them before, but I've always been elsewhere and had air tools handy. I don't have an air compressor avalable, so to save myself some time and money, is it possible to change the timing belt without removing the...

    I killed it :-(

The capri is out of commission. Did an oil change saturday and after firing it up, it had a nice metallic "clack" to it. Goes away after 1500rpms and gets quieter once its warm, but its coming from the bottom end. After disconnecting one spark plug at a time, I found that the clack goes away...

    Air silencer removal?

On my 88 stang, I want to remove the air intake silencer. It looked like I could just replace it with a section of plastic tube, but after looking at it, the throttle body end of the silencer seems to have a bigger diameter than the airbox end. Has anyone else replaced/deleted the silencer? How...

    4 speed transmission dilemma.

Ok, just bought a rebuilt 2.3L, roller cam, 4 speed manual, intake, carb, manifolds, ignition system for 200 bucks. It was all out of a scrapped 77 Pinto (except the extra roller cam). I figured that the transmission would fit into my capri (it's the standard ET type 4 speed) but it does not...

Rough idle on an 88 LX

Ever since I bought my 88 LX, it has idled excessively rough. Not a misfire, it idles like a tractor. I know 2.3L's are not known for smooth operation, but this is definitly worse than normal. Here is what I have done so far to try and correct the issue: New plugs (Autolite copper), wires, cap...

    Another 2.3L guy.

I stumbled upon this site on a hint from a fellow member over at Foureyedpride.com. I am glad to see a whole 2.3l forum! I have 2 2.3L's, which are in fact my only 2 cars (the 2002 Ranger is actually my wife's). I've got my bone stock, rust free 88 LX as my daily driver and my 86 Capri GS as my...
