Big thanks to who ever can do it for me.:nice:
Are you attached to your car for some reason? With the market being as bad as it is(for the seller) You can buy one hell of a car for $10,000. You could get a blown, stroked, Six speed with killer suspension for that kind of cash.
Use the search button. Its been answered a thousand times. And let me be the first to say... don't deface a four eye car. If you want a 87 up sell yours to somebody that wants a four eye(they are becoming more popular by the minute) and by an 87-93. There are plenty of them out there
Are there actual holes? It just looks like surface rust. Whats it look like at the seam where the tower meets the frame? All you can do is cut out the rot and put in new metal, Clip the car, or sell it and buy one thats not rusty. Those are your only real choices. If it is just surface you can...
I just put together a 302 with track heats and an n-51hr for my 86 coupe. Not in it yet but can't wait to hear it. I say go for it. I dig Anderson cams.
Posted via Mobile Device Any gravity feed hvlp gun will do. I have a couple that i picked up at TSC 4 50 bucks 4 the set that actually spray better than my Sharpe.
Posted via Mobile Devicewhat intake, performer, victor jr? What carb 600,750? I have had lots of luck with anderson cams. N21 was great n my daily driver and did 12s injected with an explorer engine
Pay the extra. I have had a few but they were not put on nice cars. The only one put on a nice car had over 50 hours of work put into it. I would not feel safe without pin's in it, but thats just me. Pic of car with 50+hours of work in the hood
The differance at 70mph is only 200rpm or so. I love 4.10s, and I say this as a guy that had 3.73s in the first 10 mustangs that he built.
5th gear 71mph@2400rpm=3.73 gears
5th gear 70mph@2600rpm=4.10 gears
Both are based on stock height tires
The market is terrible right now and nobody is spending cash. That will reflect in it's value. I can't speak for the rest of the country but in the Midwest a vert is worth two thirds of a comparable hard top(year round, not just in the winter) I'm with banger on this. If it is REALLY nice it...
Are you looking to be injected or doing a carb set up? A 351 stroked to 393cid with a victor jr and an 850 carb would get you in the 10s CHEAP. Traction will be the biggest issue. You could put the juice to it and go 9s(although it would probably scare the average person to death in one of those...
I didn't say it was. I said it is as close to what he wants as he is going to get.
As for the info on the car and tires. All info came from the Corral, where the owner of the car posted it.
