    I'm looking to replace the FMX trans in my 65 mustang to a c-4.but what transmission do i need? i know i put a fairmont c4 in a 68 cougar once i just had to change the bell housing but it was a perfect fit.:shrug:

    trunk lock problem

    i bought all new parts for my trunk lock. but when i installed them the hole that locks the cylinder in the housing is too long and the cylinder slides back and forth in the housing therefore wont open the trunk. anyonelse have any problems with aftermarket parts?i tried 2 companies same...

    i had a car dothat once and it was the door hinge bushings. replaced the bushings and pins and it worked fine

    what is the trick of installing a monte carlo bar in a 65 mustang with out beating it up?and where exactly should it bolt on? seems close to the distributor:shrug:

    you can also use bondo to fill the cracks and sand and paint it. ive seen this done and looks great

    has anyone had any problems replacing a trunk lock in a 65? i ordered everything brand new and the slot where the lock cylinder fits in the housing was too long and it slides back and forth. so i went to a local shop and looked at their cylinder housings it was exactly the same. has anyonelse...

    i just installed a 78 mgranada rear end in my 65 and it fit perfect i just needed 67-68 shock mounting plates and u bolts. i also added new springs and bushings,and magnum 500's. now on to the front for upgrades.
