After a few fox bodies and a couple sn95's I finally got a Cobra. It only took about 10 or so years. 97 Cobra vert. Great condition Now the question is to mod it or keep it stock?

This was the answer I was looking for. So many people think that they can just blast layers upon layers of clear coat, when the proper way to do it is usually 4 coats. let it cure, sand it all down again, apply another 4 coats, sand it down once more. another 4 coats then cut and polish it.

You sprayed 6 coats of clear coat at one time? Either you don't know what your talking about or your a real amateur. You must be one of these guys that wants a 12 to 16 coats of clear. Listen bud...educate yourself before entering a conversation that you have no clue about. Cheers!!!!

More clear coat would make your clear more brittle. Like glass. If you do get your car repainted I would recommend using a plasticizer in the clear. Today's clear coats are urethane clear coats. The plastiziser would have a little more give to stone chipping. Speedfreak. Although the 3M...

Is there a lin how to clean your MAF? Do you just spray the cleaner on and let it dry? IS there any parts that can break if not careful? Is there any gaskets that need replacing when cleaning the MAF? Sorry for all the ?'s but mine need cleaning also. Ive never done it b4!!!

I did my TOB and retainer last weekend. It does not require disassembly of the tranny. Just the retainer it self. I paid 65 bux canadian for it and 65 for the TOB. Your also going to require a seal and silicone. Take your time and dont get frusterated. If you need any info pm me and I'll try my...

I also thought it was the ball joint until i went under the car and got someone to turn the wheel. I held the tie rod end together and the squeak went away. i also tried this on the ball joints holding them. there was no real play in the tires so i went with the tie rod ends and now its fixed...

I have squeaky ball joints. What do you all recomend? I have prices on TRW ball joints. $75 canadian each. The car is NOT lowered and everything is stock except the exhaust.
