Getting rid of the 2005-up throttle dead-play?

Look. If the lag between pedal pressure and throttle response is driving you nuts, just go to the link posted here and follow the excellent directions and photographs. I did mine several months ago and it turned out about 75% better, probably because I was not as agressive in taking the bends...

    3D Carbon center light grill

This does not require bumper removal. Like Partsbill said, it's easy and quick. Just be careful to protect the bumper sliding the replacement grill in. I scuffed mine up a bit the first time and had to buff it out.

Need 4 1/2" Pins for my Cervinis hood

I had the same problem with a stock hood. A trip to the local hardware store for some allthread rod, a couple of coupling nuts and a generous coat of loctite solved the problem

    Noise From Dashboard Near Windshield

Jeez. An 07 with 8500 miles on it? Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it. My 07 hasn't had rattle or noise problems, but my son's did. The dealer had to pull the dash to tighten up a connection but they did it, under warranty, like it should be. That's what the warranty is for.

    Hurst short throw

A note of caution. After having one of the shaft mounting screws back out and scare the beejeezus out of me on the freeway, I put some retaining nuts on the ends and Loctited the whole thing together. It's weld-solid now and I suggest this as a precaution to all.

    Clutch question?

OK clutch experts. The clutch on the 07 GT is hydraulic without any way to adjust the point at which it engages, or so my dealer tells me. My son and I both have 07 GTs. Mine starts to engage about 1/4 off the floorboard while my son's doesn't start to engage until almost 2/3 off the floor...

Hurst Billet/Plus or Reg. Hurst Shifter?

:nice: +1 on the regular Hurst shifter. It performs flawlessly and looks like what Ford should have supplied as original equipment given the retro nature of the s197 design.

    Functional hood pins

Lift your hood. The two holes are just to the outside of the outer rubber hoodstops. I just picked up the Ford pin kit and will be installing first week of April. I'll try to do a how-to and post it if I dont F*** it up.

+ 1 on the Hurst. A quality shifter at a reasonable price and never a third gear miss. Everybody, on almost everything, loves what they own so...........
