    Lts fit around tranny?

    I've got a 97 cobra and will be putting in a t-56 in a couple weeks. i figure i'll swap to long tubes while i'm at it. I'm looking at the hooker comp headers. will they fit around the t-56? is there any difference between putting them around the t-56 and the stock tranny?

    i'm well aware of the additional costs incurred getting the car to that level of power. i appreciate the warning, but i really do want it somewhere in that range (i won't be heartbroken if i don't hit 700). Believe me this isn't just to say i have power. My buddy had a 95gt that was pushing 630...

    I have a 97 Cobra with modest mods. I've done exhaust and 4.10s and thats about it. I just got another vehicle for my daily driver so now i wanna make my cobra really go. I'm looking for roughly 700hp. I ordered a tremec t56 and lts and i'll be putting those on within the next month...

    i swapped my 3.08s to 4.10s. $250 labor sounds about right...should be in that ballpark anyway. my whole process was just over $450 (labor+parts) not sure about your area though as i'm in colorado.

    I've got a 97 cobra and will be ordering a Tremec t-56 tranny in a couple of weeks. I'll be going with the viper spec, and I've been looking at 'em, and the manufacturer offers two options: electronic and mechanical? any insight as to what i'd need?

    i've got a 97 cobra and just ordered full-length bbk headers along with a shorty h-pipe. looking under the hood, the headers look difficult to get to. anybody know exactly what is involved with replacing the headers on the svt engine?

    i've got a 97 cobra and have ordered longtube headers. looking under the hood, the headers look hard to get to on my particular engine. am i gonna have to drop the engine? can anyone tell me what exactly is involved in replacing the headers?

    I'm new to the forum and am lookin for some guidance. I want to replace the stock headers on my 97 Cobra with Ceramic Coated Headers. However, Looking at summit racing, i see that they offer shorty, mid-length, and full-length headers. Which length do i go with assuming i keep everything else...
