373 intallation with no tune...any troubles?

Your completly safe with running 89 octane on a 87 tune. And yes... if you run a lower octane then what your tuned for, your engine will have the likley chance of pinging. As for your other questions, I cant help you. EDIT: Yes your shifts will be firmer. Quicker shifting, and more pronounced...

    What is? Why dont?

What are these ''charge motion delete plates?'' I am baffled, and have no clue as to what they are or what they delete. Also... It seems as though no one is running a glasspack muffler on thier cars, why? Thanks guys.:nice:

    The ''new exciting'' Mustang...

I love the Mustangs... performance on the cheap, for the most part. I would pay 60K if I had the extra cash to waste, but I dont. Just like what one guy said earlier, make enough for demand. I dont see what would be so hard to add a little box to check off to get a special mustang, that would...

Gear ratio - Gas milage VS Performance

I just figured if you had a 5 speed that the 3.55's would be great. But by judging by all the other responses, I'm wrong. Its not that I think 3.73s would be too much for a manual, its just that I think automatics are pretty lazy compared to a manual, and I would think that 3.73s in an auto and...

    The ''new exciting'' Mustang...

You know... that one that was debuted on the Barrett Jackson auction. What a stinker. A measly Shelby GT... but its covertable. 319 hp... and its automatic. Oh, and its painted black with gold stripes. If you ask me... that was a real big let down. Heck... the regular Shelby GT coupe makes...

Gear ratio - Gas milage VS Performance

I wouldnt go 4.10s on the street. 3.73s would be much more easier on the wallet. Although... 3.55s wouldnt be bad either. We've had 3.55s in our trucks and like them alot. Maybe 3.73s with an auto, and 3.55s with a manual. I dont own a S197.

    Kid wants a Mustang

My old man bought me my first vehicle. It was a 1990 Ranger... 4 cylinder 5 speed. He said anything after this, is all on you bud. Thats fair. Someone needs to start flipping burgers at Micky D's or something.

Ford and Shelby to Release New Mustang

I read somewhere on here that the 5.0L is possibly going to be the base engine for the Mustang GT in 2008. I found it in a search, and I cant tell you how old it is. But I remember it saying that the Boss is supposed to make somewhere in the neighborhood of 425-435 horsepower, and the 5.0L that...
