Need Help to Rewire headlights on my 88gtHB

jrichker might have some specific diagrams, but if you would like some general diagrams to look at until then, this is a good website to checkout: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/relays/relays.html there are diagrams on wiring there as well as some theory. Second time in a week I've...

good reading on upgrading stock headlight wiring or 9007 conversion

I used Daniel Stern's website as my guide when buying bulbs. Ordered some GE Nighthawks from Amazon. Love them, will absolutely buy them again. They make a huge difference even without retrofitting relays.

    TORQUE WRENCH TESTING?

That's the way the AF teaches. Of course they also want the torque wrenches calibrated every 3-6 months. The AF also teaches that you should never use a torque wrench at their lower and upper values due to calibration. I want to say the lower/upper 30% but I just can't remember. Most of the...

Torque to Yield....what an unnerving procedure

Torque to yield bolts have been used in the aerospace industry for years. IIRC the T-Y bolts that hold an H60 propeller housing together were something like 3/4" shank. Yes, it was a two-man job, one to look at the gauge and the other to use the 5' torque wrench... Those were fun. Even with the...

Things I've learned from the forum...

I've lurked for a long time but don't post very often. There are a lot more knowledgeable guys around than me, so I let them at it. I've finally been able to fix a lot of my driveablity problems so I thought I'd actually put these down. My car was running like crap...more like a radical 9 sec...

    Bigger tires

I was afraid the 235's might be a problem. Might just have to buy new fronts and just wait on the back tires. Unless they 'have' to be replaced ;)

    Junkyard Brackets

Does anyone know if I can get the a/c and the alternator bracket off of something besides a mustang? Such as town car, thunderbird, etc..V8 mustangs are pretty rare in the yards here. I've currently got the SN95 style brackets now and they're all rigged up with spacers to clear. I'm planning on...

    Bigger tires

I'm about ready to replace my worn out front tires. The back could really use a bit wider of a tire for looks, so I was thinking of putting 255/60R15 on the back and swapping the existing 235's up to the front. Anyone think of problems with that on 10-holes? Quads are installed but upside down...

Are any of y'all using those fiberglass spark plug wire thingies?

I got a deal on some Accel ones from a part store. They had them mismarked for 15 bucks. They've kept my plug wires alive so far....

Does anyone know if the Cardone replacement computers are any good? I'm grasping at straws to fix my WOT problem. I'm hoping the previous owner had the ECU tuned to his supercharged engine that was previously in the car.
