    Im strongly thinking about getting one of the Aluminum block Explorer engines from Karkraft. Im having a shop do all the swap and i have my original motor to swap everything over. Im wondering tho that the explorer motor is not rated at 260HP i believe its around 220? Why is this?

    Need new Engine where to look?

    Assuming my engine takes a crap on me. Im already in the market for a used 4.6. Any suggestions on where to get one. I dont wanna spend more then 2500. Dont have any mech experience either so this will be done by a mechanic. As in having the crate shipped to him.

    SVTTECH I wish you lived close to Ohio hehe. You were spot on with my misfire problem without even being there to see the car. The noise does speed up in 1st gear as the RPMs climb. It almost sounds like something is loose.
