    yeah it's a little boring driving an auto but the smoothness of the ride is great. I also like the convenience of throwing crap in the back and going - rather than having to find a friend w/ a truck etc. If I really get the urge I'll be able to find a cheap GT down the road.

    yeah it was definitely solid metal. If I had to guess what the knocking is I'd say the clutch fork on the sides of the bell housing.

    the coolant thing is easy...sounds like the sensor that plugs into the reservoir. (has a floting thing that detects the level) transmission whine...is it the right fluid level? I know you shouldn't have too much or too little, has to be just right - or a synchro is gettin tired in there...

    As seen in my sig, just dropped a 4.6 from an 04 grand marquis (only 20k miles on it) into my 2000 stang, and used the injectors on the engine. The clips on the injector harnesses wont clip onto the injectors (I fabbed a way for them to stay on securely) and I get a lean code every month or...

    Can the caps that hold a cam in place be swapped w/ caps from different heads of the same year etc.? They are all machined to the same specs right?
