’67 Wipers Acting Up, Stop Anywhere On The Windshield

Well, the title says it all. My wipers were on the fritz for a while and I discovered that the switch had simply come loose. Good news, right? Meeeh!... They work now, but when I turn them off, they stop wherever they happen to be. Any ideas?

Looking For A Lightweight Car Cover

Solved the question for good. I got two, old flannel bed sheets. Super soft, and they cover the entire car while in the garage. K.I.S.S!

Looking For A Lightweight Car Cover

Found online something thin and form-fitting, but it's in the $400 range. Ouch!

Looking For A Lightweight Car Cover

All I see is those thick covers; same as I have. I might have to go to a seamstress and get a custom cover done in thin cotton... I want something I can trow in the washing machine.

Looking For A Lightweight Car Cover

Hi all Any of you know where I can source a thin car cover for indoor use only? I haven't been able to find something straightforward and lightweight; something that's made of thin cotton or bed sheet-like material. I didn't think it was much to ask, but all I find is heavy duty stuff I don't...

Odd Fuel Leak Holley 600 cfm

Problem now solved, but I'm not certain how I did it. I removed and reseated the power valve once again ( probably 6 times in all since this hilarity started) and took great care in aligning everything upon reassembly. I tested the carb on the workbench for a last time, telling myself that the...

Odd Fuel Leak Holley 600 cfm

Hi all, long time no post! I have a question regarding a weird fuel leak on my Holley 600 with vac secondary. Fuel is leaking from the primary bowl into the carb and exits through a small hole located near one of the primary venturis at the bottom of the baseplate. I identified it after...

    67 Fastback trunk trim issue

Hello, Can someone tell me how to remove/install the trunk lid molding clips? The holes in the trunk outer skin don't go all the way through. I purchased a replacement trim that came with clips; they require a nut to be tightened from the other side... WTF?????

    ’67 Front Valance Mod

I already am running a tranny oil cooler that's trapped to the radiator. Maybe it would be smart to relocate it in the path of the new opening. Good point you're making there... I will have to look into it.

    ’67 Front Valance Mod

Well the width is easy, really. The opening stops 2 inches before the cutout where the inner bumper bracket comes out to meet the bumper. For depth I played around with black tape before being satisfied with the shape. Basically the lowest point is 2 inches ABOVE the bottom of the license plate...

    ’67 Front Valance Mod

Two out of four screws are left. I lost the two innermost mounting points as I cut off the sheetmetal. It is plenty strong though and not moving at all.

    ’67 Front Valance Mod

Getting tired of the stock profile of the ’67 Mustang, I decided to give it a new face. After getting rid of the bumper guards things got cleaner. Next step was to cut open the valance, following the general look of a ’67 Shelby. I took the car to a friend's house and we cut away. My buddy...

Same here. Early 80s though. I was just looking to buy a new Off-Road model from Tamiya to kick the dirt on the BMX track...

    1967/1968 Pop Open Gas Cap

The 67-68 has a heavily concaved contour on the tail panel. Yours appears more flat. This will need to be addressed.

    American Racin T70R are back

This is a very nice variation on the 5-spoke design. I could see this used on an early 70s F-Body car (Camaro/Firebird) Maybe on 69-70 Mustangs too. Sizes seem to stop at 15 inches. OK by me, but at least a 16-inch would be a good idea for the restomod crowd, not to mention for the...

    anyone put a j car.. r&p. in a 65-66

I have installed in my ’67 a Randall's Rack system. I believe that it is a GM J-car system (at least I was told). Anyway my rack has given my car surgical-precision steering and improved handling beyond my wildest dreams. The car is lowered and I used to have bumpsteer problems with the stock...
