    89 gt- gas gauge not working...etc.

    the toughest part about changing the float will be dropping the gas tank. just make sure the tank is empty! also make sure when you do this to replace the seal that goes from the filler to the tank or else anytime you make a hard right, gas will spill out.

    air bag light

    i had something kind of similar happen to me. it turned out being a vacuum leak. the way i found the leak was by spraying the lines with some throttle body cleaner. once the cleaner hit the leak, the engine would sound fine

    heat gauge rises,, hot air not coming through vents?

    sounds to me like it is the thermostat. that would explain why the heater would finally start working and why the gauges would finally look good. the thermostat is probably not opening at the correct temp

    What brand tools should i buy?

    what's up fellas? I am finally going to start working on my mustang again so i need to buy some new tools. I always used to buy whatever autozone would sell but this time i am looking higher quality tools. I know MAC and Snap-on tools are supposed to be good but are they really worth all that...
