    killer canary

Someone call? :). Sorry, I have been really busy with my new job and life in general. Ryan and Troy told me about this thread but I kept forgetting to stop by. I did sell my '94 cobra several years ago and bought a 2004 Z06 Corvette... It was the best thing I ever did. I spent THOUSANDS of...

Been there, done that... don't waste your time and money. Now if it is going to be a HPDE car then the mustang isn't so bad, for a quick transitioning autocross car the suspension geometry is just all wrong, front and rear.

anybody know exactly what the bump steer kits fix?

I type too slow and Kurt beat me to it. The bump steer kit moves the tie-rod to spindle mounting location which helps to lessen the effect described above.

anybody know exactly what the bump steer kits fix?

Straight from maximum motospsorts site: MM Bumpsteer Kits : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader! In other words as the wheels travels up and down in its suspension travel the tie rod will cause one wheel to turn more than the other resulting a unwanted...

I almost went to that. My buddy Mike went with his red ford fairmont. Did you see that car? It has a watts and evolution tri-link in it!

    315/35/17 with 17x10.5 on 95 GT??

It should fit without an issues. However, if the cat back wasn't installed perfectly the tail pipes may rub, but it should be a simple fix to correct by clocking the tail pipe slightly.

Ford Racing 1.7 roller rocker question

I can not tell you if it is the same as the crane but years ago I also broke one of the pedestals ( I installed the rocker with the fulcrum facing the wrong way) and I just ordered a new pedestal set from ford for a 93-95 cobra. They came clipped into a hardened metal c channel which I had to...

Anyone know how to install an airbag off switch?

I missed this when I posted before. Kurt, I will tell you that every time I drive the Z06 I think why am I keeping the '95, but I will admit it was fun yesterday trying to figure out my tune and what was going on with it. I will likely keep the mustang at least for the forseeable future, but...

Anyone know how to install an airbag off switch?

Kurt, I don't have a wiring schematic nor knowledge on how the circuit is setup to start splicing in a switch. If anyone does I'd love to see it. I'm not sure it is a grounded circuit or not. Bullitt95- If the light comes on when I have it switched off I'm not too worried, as long as it...

Cobra Owners - Need to replace your old oil cooler hoses?

Great information!!! I deleted mine on my old cobra as it was too much of a PITA for me plus my dad's 91 had the ford oil coller and we had trouble with oil and water mixing and found the cooler to be the cuplrit. For those wanting to keep it though this information will be great and huge time...

    Clutch Cable Lubrication

What made the MM cable not fit? Was it too long/short? Was the bracket wrong that bolts to the car?

Anyone know how to install an airbag off switch?

I'd like to take my daughter with me to car shows in my '95 but my rear seat is useless as the roll bar is there and poses a huge safety risk for rear passengers making my car a 2 seater. I routinely take my daughter with my in my Z06 but it has a switch for the front seat air bag and the latch...

    Clutch Cable Lubrication

White lithium is what I always use. Expose as much as possible, spray the he'll out of it, then run it in and out of it's casing. Flip it around and do the same to the other side. I do this until the grease has obviously made it's way through the entire cable.

    Wingless SN95's

I have never liked the wingless look on our cars. It makes them look too much like normal run of the mill, non-performance orientated cars.

    refinished my tail lights

Looks good! If I ever redo mine I plan to polish the lenses first, then tape and paint. Taping these is a bit of pain. Is the duplicolor a base coat, clear coat process?

    Tonneau Covers (hard)

Rich (95opal) has one and it looks awesome. His is the single 1 piece unit and although it looks better than the 2 piece design, if I were to have one I would go 2 piece just for functionality as the 1 piece can not be stored in the event of a rain storm. If it is free I would be all over it...
