That's indicative of the T-stat being open or partially open all the time. What are the ambient air temperatures?

Car Acting Wierd If Don't Drive It For A Few Days

I suspect the alternator isn't putting out the voltage necessary to keep the battery fully charged. Start the car and measure the voltage between the terminals. You should see a minimum of 14v.

Qh: Trans Oil Temp On 5sp?

If you haven't done a smoke test for a possible vacuum leak you can't rule out that possibility. There are too many hidden areas that only a smoke test will reveal.

    Timing/drivability Issues

If the balancer has or is slipping between the outer and inner rings you cannot determine the timing by reading the marks. As you have now moved the distributor the readings mean nothing. There is usually a vibration issue at higher rpms when a HB has slipped. I wouldn't be surprised if the HB...

    Timing/drivability Issues

Grounds are extremely important and most often overlooked. The battery to engine and engine to chassis grounds need to be solid. I would start by physically checking these grounds. Eyeballing them is useless. With the timing numbers you are seeing would indicate a bad balancer. Remove the belt...

    Fan Always On

The defroster/mix is a different fan and has no interaction related to the engine cooling fan operational parameters.

Engine Noise Sounds Like I Have A Vortex Wth?

If the HB is wobbling it's toast and needs to be replaced. To leave it puts the engine at risk for serious internal damage.

    95 Mustang Gt Upgrade Question

I believe that should read "low-speed fan goes ON at 220* and OFF at 204*". High speed ON at 230* and OFF at 220* or ON with the a/c on at any speed less than 48 mph.

    Engine Need Advice

Solid battery to engine and engine to chassis grounds are one of the most overlooked but critical maintenance points. Without good grounds all sensor outputs are negatively affected. That with aging sensors will cause numerous operating issues.

Help! Power Steering Pump, Pulley, Or Shaft Bent?

I doubt if the shaft is bent. Since you need a replacement pulley you will be able to see if the shaft is bent when the new pulley is installed.

Electrical Car Would Not Start After Long Drive.

Possibly, they often die a slow death. They will test okay only to completely fail later. With a reman a failing PIP passes only to fail shortly after it's installed.

    Engine Need Advice

Idle rpm is a PCM commanded value. The IAC valve may have failed. It's an on/off solenoid that controls the air flow to the TB at idle. I would suggest that for under $25 you buy a code reader such as this one. The reader will help pinpoint the problem rather than relying on guesses.

And this is probably why reman units have PIP failures that were not diagnosed.

Electrical Car Would Not Start After Long Drive.

It could be a few things. Do you know how to pull the trouble codes without a code reader? A search in this forum should locate the procedure. A $23 reader is easier and less frustrating than counting flashes.

94 Mustang - Car Shuts Off While Driving

Most likely the PIP (Hall Effect Sensor) in the distributor. I believe that by removing the "spout" connector the PIP signal is not referenced by the PCM, The timing is locked at the base setting which is somewhere between 10* - 14*. The ignition module isn't usually a problem part on the SNs...

    Engine Need Advice

Clean the MAF sensor element. Once the engine reaches operating temps the ecu runs in closed loop and this requires that all the sensors function correctly. To this end ensure the battery to engine and engine to chassis grounds are solid. You need to remove the terminals and clean them to bare...
