    Oh man! It really is! My pathetic 4-banger can actually break the back wheels loose going around corners! Lets just see if my gas mileage goes up on my next trip out to Iowa... With the automatic I would get 24mpg highway and 18mpg in the city. Thanks for all the help! :nice:

    One week later and I am FINISHED!!! :nice: I had to do a little fabricating and cutting, and use a little RTV to get the weather boot to seal down around the shifter...but, its all sealed off, and you can even tell with all the trim back in place!! Works like a charm! There she is!

    Oh...I haven't gotten far enough yet to notice that the hole needed to be made bigger to let the shifter pop threw. I just noticed the bolt holes used to hold down the auto shifter didnt match with the rubber seal that encloses the manual shifter Nuts, hopefully there is something to cut it...

    Yeah, right above the clutch pedal there is just like, a threaded bolt sticking out. Looks like something slides over it and a nut goes on it. That where the sensor goes? Is it easy to put it on there without taking everything all back apart? What happens If I just leave the jumper in...

    Ok... First: I was talking about the black connector hanging down on the right side of that picture. I figured out where it went, it went on the top of the steering column, right next to the cable that stops you from taking it out of gear with the key not in the ignition. So...thats solved...

    Think I should swap mine? I started to pull it out of there...but by the time I had gotten the pedals out and got around to the speedo cable I was so pissed off that after I pulled on it a bit I gave up. I figured the one currently in my car should work...wouldn't it?

    Sweet! I'll leave the auto's computer in it, but I'm still going to snag the manual computer. Boss wants the car towed to the junk yard and off his property as soon as possibly so I think I'm not going to worry about the wiring harness...unless I go back and it looks super easy to take out...

    Ha thanks! I didn't check American Muscle. I tend not to buy from them since I have had 2 sets of headlights from them that were complete crap... I guess I'll give in this time and get the weatherstripping from them!
