    Here is the car that started this thread. I miss it dearly. I moved across the country and needed a more suitable daily. I sold it to a guy back home and he then sold it after he didn’t like it.

    If you’re looking more for heat insulation I would suggest something with ceramic in the insulation ( lizard skin or db skin).

    Ended up cleaning the car up really good and unloading it to someone with a stimulus check. Ended up with a extra grand in my pocket. It was fun just mindlessly working on it and not worrying about it. Here are the final pics of it. This car taught me a few things… I hate verts Mustang guys...

    Did a little cleaning on the car. Tossed the carpet and back seats in the dumpster. Neither were worth saving. I scrubbed the floor and trunk pan with simple green and pressure washed them. The smell is almost 100% gone. It’s coming together.

    It’s been a few years. All I’ve managed to get on the car is new shift boot, e-brake boot, 18 inch bullitts and tires. I have thought a lot about selling the car. I won’t get anything really for it(sub 10 grand). I have no use for it these days. Maybe I will get back into it one day.
