    supercharged 4.0 question

    Go with Jim's advice. I have a charge cooled vortech v2 at 16psi on mine, no issues, I also am the only one still using the 7.5 that can run 11's, although with a girdle, auburn diff, 4:10's and 3" wheel studs, it is best to go with the 8.8 swap, it will cost less in the long run.

    I think you are right on the money, 300hp with the canned tune, more with a dyno or email tune like I have. As mentioned I have the vortech, I know a bunch that have the xcharger, known a few with the procharger, all are great systems, the x has an intercooler now and they are getting pretty quick.

    2005-06 Mustang V6 Throttle Body (not spacer)

    If you want a bigger one, buy the Zabtech. It is a machined out factory unit (to 68mm) with a custom throttle plate and shaft. Comes with all the eletronics attached so it just bolts on and plugs in. I use it, still $300+ 12.7@104 10psi vortech aftercooled

    The pulley is near $300, you have to buy the reccommended belt and rent a crank pully puller. I had a hard time keeping the engine from turning untill I attached a chain to one of the pulley bolts and hooked the chain through the frame rail.
