    Gas mileage is primarily dependent on the driver. If you dropped 5 MPG then it sounds like you are breaking in the tires.

    You will only ever get the advertised ratings if you minimize your RPMs, skip gears, utilize 5th gear and are smooth on the gas pedal, the break and steering wheel. You are not going to drive it like you stole it and get 25 MPG.

    How do you know that the temp gauge works well? I've had several that appeared to work well but in reality were showing overheating conditions when the car was running at a normal temperature.
