I use nothing but royal purple you can pick it up at any napa parts store. Mobil 1 changed there synthetic to semi-synthetic and still label it as synthetic.

mine runs at 180 driving around in 80* weather and at a dead stop idleing for 10 mins in the garage it went up to 190-195 and this is with an autometer gauge. On the stock gauge it is between the first 2 lines that is supposed to be 150 so we know its not right!

wow you guys have spent alot of money!!! I just picked up a 89 lx convert for 2200 with nice mods runs 12.7's and am putting a 125 shot on her to bring her down to the 11's and the grand total will be under 3000 with the car.
