k thanx for the info.. my only issue with the grill i guess is that i thought people would probally notice it shouldnt have those stripes.. but i think i will can the idea and just go with the stripes and keep the stock grill.. i was looking at some pics of 73 with the stripes and it doesnt look...

do you end up keeping the 73 bumper and fenders. ya i just dont want to put the strips on it and then have a 73 grill.. probally would look odd..

hey guys i was wondering if its possible to install a 71/72 grill in a 73 mach1. i want to keep the 73 fenders and bumper but put the 71/72 mach1 stripes on my 73 mach. but if i do this i would like to install the earlier grill as well. do you guys think this is possible or are the demensions...

well i think i might use that idea and right nancy in mach1 font then have the running horse in the background of it then the red white blue strips behind as well. good idea guys

ok guys been wanting to get a tattoo to reprsent my car.. well my car is a 73 mach1 and its name is nancy and i have been trying to think of a tattoo that i could get to incorprate its name as well as a symbol. i was thinking of maybe some racing symbols or something along those lines. any help...

i havent read what everyone has said but it looks very repairble. i wouldnt give up on her yet. i have the save rust out on mine. but yours looks better to be honest. they sell the bottom rails i belive so i would just have it replaced. i would pick up a welder like someone eles said and do it...

well i got my dash out. but of course mine is a 73 mach1. but i bought rattle can paint from mustang unlimited which seems to be worknig great so far so we will see.

ya looks liek some damage or a rust spot showing upt threw the paint to givei t that bubble looks. something def. isnt right doesnt look like mine either.

i never thought of that. thats located on my shifter right? cause as of now i dont have the shifter in the car at all. im glad i got some guys who can think out side the box for me. cause i just built my engine and ran it on a test stand and since its been in the car i cant get it to go.

so went out to check the stang out i have the red/green wire on the post closest to the front and the other post is a dark color wire. but still no crank. is there a ground somewhere i might not have connected or a fuse? any help is great i would like to beable to get it turn key again. thanx

ok i got my stang about wired up but i was wondering if anyone can tell me on their car what colar wires they have going to the posts on their starter sol. i cant seem to get power from the key to mine i ended up using a screwdriver to start it. thnx a bunch guys

ya i understand. whats the diffrence in weight between the 71-72 and the 73 in the front bumper? i really never known. the honeycomb on the back is diffrent from the 71-72 to the 73. i always thought it was just stripping was diffrent. but of course where i live i dont see to many 71-73 anyways...

how much you think the old urethane bu,pers worth. theres one in local junkyard in great shape that i was going to get just to hold on to.

ya long tubes do make a hassle i love them but i bought mine had trouble going around steering box. had to dent them quit a bit to make them fit. i love hookers comp. but just dont fit well.

is your ranger a 4x4 by the way off topic i know. i was thinking of doing a v8 conversion in my 92 4x4 some day but herd it was tricky..
