    Can anyone tell my the build date from my VIN?

    If you can find the book "in search of mustangs" for 1964 to 1966 you can closely guess by comparing your vin sequential numbers to others listed in the book, for the same assembly plant/model year.I have the book but for 67 to 73 mustangs hope this helps

    front drum brake locking up and driving me crazy!

    you mentioned that the drums have just been turned...by any chance did you replace front shoes at that time?maybe primary/secondary shoes mixed up??just a thought...

    cheap tailight housing resto

    hi skirockp that's how I came across this fix ...tried "chrome" paints with no luck then I saw the tape on a hook by my work bench...seemed like a good thing to try....works great ... used autosol chrome polish to give it that extra shine.... love the cheap fixes we find on the mustang roads!!

    hi fellow mustangers have you got a classic mustang with dull tailights?I did too I've found a cheap fix for the tailight housing reflective surface. I found a furnace duct tape (not the gray fabric type but an aluminum foil tape) works GREAT!it's super sticky stays to the galvanized metal...
