    Which turbocharger

To the best of my knowledge, the only difference between the year models is the radiator piping. The location is different on the newer models, and the upper radiator hose/pipe in the new kit comes with the different pipe for that. AS far as blow through vs draw through...when the kit first...

    Which turbocharger

Here's a pic of where to move the MAF to make the blow through design tunable.

    Which turbocharger

I would think they would be comparable to each other installation wise unless the thp kit has some parts that need to be "tweeked". The Turbonetics kit fit like a glove without having to tweek anything. but...it is a tight fit everywhere. The Turbonetics kit has a very detailed installation...

    Which turbocharger

The price really isn't that much better for the thp kit. The Turbonetics kit comes with the intercooler and piping, and also larger 60# injectors, and injector harness, that you wouldn't have to upgrade later when you turn up the boost, and it comes with a turbo blanket and heat wrap too. I...

    Which turbocharger

Someone else could probably explain it better than me, but it's mainly in relation to where the MAF is located. A draw through design has the MAF located near the air filter, before the turbo/intercooler, drawing the air across the sensor. It also has to recirculate the air from the blow off...

    Which turbocharger

+1. Although I do like my Turbonetics kit, and I have absolutely no clearance issues. I had some issues with the blow through setup, and ended up going back to the draw through design like the Hellion. It is a very complete kit when using the stock spring, and I only paid $4450.00 new in the...

My factory pump was adequate for the stock boost, but I added a BAP because I wanted mine tuned @ 12psi.

I gutted my cats while installing the Pypes mid muffler system before the turbo install. My next mod is going to be the delete plates. I would think that it would help considerably, but I don't know for sure.

    turbonetics Fix

Is the bov alot louder being vented to atmosphere? Also, did you have to get a Mafia to tune it? I didn't need one for the draw through setup.

    3V Spark plug change hell

When I bought the car it had (20,000 miles) a Mac air filter and heat sheild that didn't require a re-tune. I had the car tuned and used an SCT programmer set on the 93 octane rating for about 5,000 miles before going FI.
