Did you hurt the motor at all? Have you checked your compression lately? That's strange you can't pull down the same #'s as last year. Has anything changed?

What color is your dash illumunation without the My Color?

A stroker kit is the way to go. Especially if your car is going to be street driven. Although it is fun revving your car to 3500 just to let your clutch out at a stoplight. :D

You are running on borrowed time. Get your car to a dyno immediately or stop running the squeeze. Detonation is very bad and if you are still having troubles don't mess around anymore, see a dyno for tuning. Your motor will only take so much. Good luck.

I would never install the Shaker 1000. It is junk and ridiculously overpriced, not to mention it takes up way too much room. You can get an amp/sub/box combo for $600 and under that would blow the 1000 away and take up far less room.

I'm 6' 3" and I find the car very comfortable and accomodating. Now that you guys started this thread I'm probably going to get a complex about it now. Thanks :nonono:

Thanks for easing my mind. I've put on 1400 kms since my last oil change and my level is fine. I guess we just have to live with these oil burners. :D

First choice would be a 351 but you could probably end up doing a 302 stroker a bit cheaper and easier. And you know it will bolt right in without the hassle of finding parts to make the 351 fit. Todays 302 stroker kits are very reliable and easier than ever to build. Nice thing about the 347...

Yeah, I don't think any of the shops in my town do that. A buddy of mine has a driveshaft off of a 91 GT that I can try out.

I don't understand why these manufacturers don't build these things bulletproof. I haven't heard of one easy to replace vehicle heater core.:shrug:

An impact should work.

I think it has to be a problem with the heater core if it's leaking out the weep hole. That sucks big time. I just finished installing my new stroker and ended up wrecking my heater core as well. I still have to replace it. Good luck.
