    draglites on s197

This may not be what you are interested in, but I bought some Weld Draglite XPS series rims used. They are 16X8 and have no problem clearing the calipers. I believe the XPS series has been discontinued for a long time, but I have seen them for sale quite a bit. I am running 26X10.5X16 MT ET...

    JUST BOUGHT ROUSH REAR SPRINGS

The Roush should level off the car perfectly. I did mine w/o an adjustable panhard bar, and everything seems to be centered perfectly. The rear springs are super easy to do as well and take minimal time to install.

    FR500 Wheels

I run the Black 18X9 FRPP FR500 wheels with the 24mm spacing. They are not targeted for the S197, but they work just fine. The only problem is that you really need to run 255/40/18's to keep the wheels under the fenders. I like the look (they fit close to the edge of the fenders), and 255's...

Best X-Pipe/H-Pipe aftermarket w/Cats to buy?

I put the modular Bassani X-Pipe with cats and race pipes. My car was noticably running better. I have only run it with the cats, b/c I was told it sounds rediculous with the race pipes. I am currently running it with the stock mufflers. I had weld-in Flowmasters 40 series that the previous...

    Underdrive pulleys - worth it???

I think the LCA's first is probably a good idea. I have done the LCA's and the UDP's and definitely got the most bank for the buck out of the LCA's. They really help your launch, and generally eliminate any wheel hop you have. With that said I would do the UDP's when you have the money in...

    best place to buy nitto's

I am running Nitto 555 285/40/18's on 18X9 rims. They are a little pudgy, but they work. I am going to get a size or two down for my next set. I will probably do the same size on all 4 so I can rotate them. If you were in Houston I would say I would sell you mine and put 255/45's to match...

    Brake pads...

I have had good luck with Pro Stop ceramics with other cars, but haven't replaced the pads on my Mustang yet. They produce low brake dust and have good life on DD type applications. Anyone else try these?

What kind of flowmasters are these

They may be 2.5's, but the change in sound is considerably different than the stock GT mufflers. Mine were really deep and loud. Even though I liked the sound, I bought some cheap stockers because I like my neighbors. There is definitely a difference between stock and those flowmasters (but...

What kind of flowmasters are these

Not sure if you ever figured this out or not. I saw this a while back and had the same question, because I bought my 06 used and had similar Flowmasters that I couldn't figure out what they were. I eventually bought some stock GT mufflers for $40, b/c the drone was too much and they were not...

    Silver mustang w/ stripes

I just bought a silver GT myself, and am considering the right stripe color. I agree with the other poster that black is too dark. Black looks good on a darker silver color, but the satin silver is too light. I was thinking of gunmetal color for the wheels and matching stripes going down the...
