Engine Advice For 95 5.0 Build For My 71 F100

So how about the stock '95 heads ? That motor new was rated at 215 hp, nothing to get exited about. I don't imagine a change in cams, old weiand intake, carb and headers would make more than 30-40 hp difference, still nothing to get exited about. Seems like the only way to get a fun motor is...

Engine Advice For 95 5.0 Build For My 71 F100

5-6 yrs. ago I bought a set of assembled Brodix / KCR (Kieth Craft) Signature Series 195 heads. They've been out of the box twice for me to stare at and stay in my closet. The heads were for a '65 Comet project with a 418 W stroker and a single carb Weiand roots blower. Due to financials...

    heat and sound insulation

A big issue here in Phoenix is the heat. A black car sitting in the sun for hours is major hot, my biggest concern is the pieces staying in place, not melting off. And it needs to be able to withstand that for years, not just a few hours, weeks. All your input has been helpful, anything else...

    heat and sound insulation

just right, the sound deadener showdown was really helpful. I don't see where the RAAM mat is much cheaper than The damplifier pro. Anyway, I'll definately use that guide to pick a product. I'm in Phoenix with a black car, it gets hotter than hell in there

    Updated TCP G-Bar triangulated 4-link...

Thanks, under what circumstances would you be causing bind ? Hard cornering while braking ? while accelerating ? hard launching ? straight line skid/braking ? And what could be the likely result ? What I'm trying to get at is, would a bind issue be something an aggressive street driven car...

bind issues Can someone clear this up more for street car use ? Since many of you are opting for the basic poly bushing G bar, is this saying that could run into some binding issue ? Under what circumstances would that happen ? And what reaction would that cause ? Is it likely to happen...

    Updated TCP G-Bar triangulated 4-link...

well, I was hoping for some discussion in language that normal people use but I knew better going over to corner carversafter that warning. Same bunch of engineer jargon on a bunch of theories that none of them agree on, everyone politely bickering some moot point that's so far from the...

HTH system Thanks for the replys. If you can believe anything the manufacturer claims, besides a challange to route exhaust, which several of the systems pose, it sounds like an ideal set-up. Very nice ride, boxing and strengthening the middle of my weak unibody, wheel travel as independant as...

Hotrods To Hell Truck arm suspension O.K. guys, this looks like a TCP forum but have you seen this set up from HTH ? I have been looking for the right rear suspension for my 65 Comet street/strip car. Mostly street, occasional strip. TCP's G bar set up was my top choice untill I saw this. Now...
