I see most of you are running flowmasters. It would definately be worth your while to try a different type muffler...preferably one of the straight through type mufflers. I.E.- Borla, Magnaflow etc. Reason being is, it's been proven that flowmasters with all their baffling, decreases...

Friction modifier is a MUST. If this mechanic didn't put any in, then it's probably the problem.

You definately need to carry it back to him and let him hear it. Because most of all the times I've heard of someone with "whining" after a gear install, it was because something wasn't right. :shrug:

I had their K-Member, A-Arms, coil-overs and struts on my '87 coupe. I think everything BUT the K-Member is a quality piece. Compared to ALL other k-members, I don't like the mounting tabs for the arms. They're flimsy thin gauge steel tabs that "pull" together when you tighten up the a-arm...

Well, with your plans, I would definately get the Track Heat. BUT, I would also consider buying a Holley Systemax II intake. It is an almost exact replica of the Vortech intake that was designed SPECIFICALLY for boosted applications. So it's your best bet for any type of forced induction...
