I appreciate the help. I will do some research on the ES mounts. My buddy said that he has ES mounts in his car and never had a problem with hitting. Maybe the previous owner ordered vert mounts? I heard those sit lower. Who knows maybe the shop installed them wrong. I will let you guys...

I'm not running any fan at the moment, I want to solve the problem before I ruin somthing else. I'm not driving the car. I don't have the stock parts but I can get a stock fan and shroud froma buddy.

The previous owner of my notch put some energy suspension motormounts in it and after about 500 miles the fan hit the shroud and tore them both up. Anyone else having this problem? Should I just get some OEM motor mounts or maybe try another brand? :shrug:

As far as I know all Cobras are equipped with a 10 spline fromt he factory. I am thinking the best clutch would probably be a stock replacement clutch unless you plan of upgrading your power level.

My opinion is that if your going for a daily driver get the higher mileage car. If it is just gonna be a weekend/nice day car, get the low mile '94. I miss my '95 Cobra but if I was going strictly by performance I'd get a '96-'98. It seems they are cheaper to make fast. I do have a soft spot...
