Question on exhaust for an S/C application

I forgot I took this video last night, but it's not too great. It's just about half throttle or a little more, so its not too loud. I'll make sure to get a good video tomorrow, my camera was dead. VID00002-20091019-1855.flv video by josh072692 - Photobucket

Question on exhaust for an S/C application

I don't think there are many differences at all between the two, but I don't have a sound clip yet because I just got the blower on like 2 days ago. It is defiantly pretty loud and it sounds good. Mine is very quiet too, at idle there is nothing but when cruising around 3000 rpm there is a very...

Question on exhaust for an S/C application

I actually just put a sn89 on my car too, I like it but I don't have a boost gauge yet, so I don't know how much boost I'm seeing. The car feels like a totally different car though and it's a lot faster.

    Watkins Glenn Edition?

I live right in rochester and I saw that posted too. I'm going to ask my uncle what was done because he was the service manager at the dealership that did the package back then. It looks like just a sticker package though.

    cobra: 94-95 or 96-98

96-98 because the 5.0's just aren't as special because it's just a 5.0 with GT-40 heads and intake were as the 4.6 DOHC is a completely different motor and the dual snorkel hood is much cooler and just makes the car look much better overall. The 4.6's have also been reliable not that the 5.0...

    what do u think?

Ya I was thinking the same thing but some people say it's okay as long as the car is tuned right and you don't rev it too high, but I agree with you.

    what do u think?

I would really check out the torque boxes on the foxbody because those southsides tear up torque boxes easily if they are reinforced first. Believe me I now from experience.

    Torque box questions...

Same thing happened to me as 347HO, So I took the car to a local restoration shop that does high dollar builds to make sure it was done right and they charged me $200 to weld the torque boxes. The original spot welds on the top lip were being pulled away, so they pushed them back up and welled...
