    Roush TVS Motor gone bad!!!

i'm glad you're back on track and the P-51 should give you years of happy pedal mashing. from what i remember it has a lower compression ratio and that will give you a little extra safety margin. keep the updates coming.

Help?? Mutha Thumpr questions / set up?

stangFan, no....no re-timing is required. the stock cams and aftermarket cams have keyways and you maintain the original timing.

Help?? Mutha Thumpr questions / set up?

the stage III (Big Mutha Thumpers) require a stroker motor or ported heads, so i think stage I or II is for you. only you can decide which stage is right for you. as for cam install directions, you can use the FRPP cam install manual found on-line here...

    FRPP Hot Rod Cams Question

i think you'll be ok for a week or so... you may have to raise the idle rpms to 810 or 850 and your idle may be a little unstable, but other than those minor issues, i think you'll be fine.

i went with a dynotech, it also has an aluminum adapter plate. since lethal and brenspeed both sell it, i figured it had to be ok.

    best UCA length?

sorry i couldn't give a definite answer, i just installed a one piece drive shaft along with the UCA and my setup is different. you can't go wrong with the steeda starting point.

    best UCA length?

it's a hard question to answer... essentially you are asking what the pinion angle should be, with a two piece drive shaft, aftermarket upper and lower control arms. i would probably start by measuring the current pinion angle, install the UCA, then set the pinion angle to match. i'm...

Need Help regarding Saleen Racecraft S/C Mustang

i don't think the numbers are inflated, basically it sounds like the OEM saleen s/c kit which produces 5-6psi. rwhp for that kit is going to be in the neighborhood of 365-385 with the saleen tune, perhaps approaching 400 with a custom dyno tune. if you want to eventually get into the...

Comp Cams VS Hot Rod Cams

based on that graph, while the thumpers show a slight lead between 5000-6000 rpms, the hot rods lead below 2900 rpms. low end torque is what you feel, when you are starting out in first gear at low rpms.

Comp Cams VS Hot Rod Cams

it really is a tough choice, because they are similar in many respects. both cams will give you a very nice choppy lope to the exhaust and both will have power gains for a Naturally Aspirated vehicle. the thumpers will require you to install phaser limiters, the hot rods will not...
