    Transmission Reccomendation Help

    PA makes great tanny's. There kits should include a converter. If not ask them what to get. There are a few good company's for 5.0 converters. Pre-cision Industries makes a good one, but are pricey. Ask PA which route to take with there tranny. Never did the swap so I'm not gonna preach to you.

    It's sad when a piece of your childhood disappears. For me it was West Hampton Dragway on Long Island in New York that closed in the early 2000's.. The Islands last race track. They had an auto cross track in Bridge Hampton I went to once as a kid but they closed a long time ago.

    I don't use a permanent gauge. I just hook one up when I want to adjust it. I "have" one, just havent put it on yet.

    Was the tightener loose? I run mine at around 28lbs in the summer. It seems to be good for a tenth in the 1/4. But in the winter time it has a tough time starting up when it's cold out so I put it back up to 40lbs. for the cold months.

    Spend the money on an 85mm MAF w/ a power pipe.

    Idle Problem help??

    Loosen up both sides, so you can turn/twist the MAF. Twist it both ways till the idle smooths out. It worked for me when I had a 75mm bullet.

    i think pontiacs days are numbered. pontiac or buick should be the next one to go out of business.
