you cant use the continental motor. its a fwd motor, and they have a different belllhousing bolt pattern. you wont be able to find a rwd tranny for it.

I agree with lil joe, go with the rockers they will only give you an extra .020 lift, but the roller rockers will reduce friction and create hp. The cam won't help much without some head work.

I used the auto on mine and it worked just fine. I would suggest getting the cover that bolts to the floor. It will keep any unwanted smells and heat out.

those trannys will not work, the 4 cylinder uses an unique bellhousing and an A4LD tranny.

The drivers side axle out of a 4 cyl. ranger will work perfect.:D 7.5 axles will work in an 8.8 also.

ive been running the stock fuel pump from efi on my carbed 5.0 for 5 years now and it works very well. You just need to be sure to install a "T" in the line for the return back to the tank. Carbdford.com has a lot of info. check it out.

if you want to add some lift, u can use rockers off of a 460. they are 1.7 rockers, compared to the stock 1.6. the 93 cobras do this for extra lift.

be sure to use explorer plugs for those heads, they are different.

Yes, i pulled them but the only thing i got was an intake air temp. to high. changed the sensor, and that went bye bye. I think my trans harness might be messed up, going to try that next.

yes, they are. they have the same firing order as the HO. the only difference, was the harmonic balancer. It had a crank trigger, and i took it off, and replaced it with old balancer.

I would check the fuel pump relay under the drivers seat. It could just be bad timing.
