i have a 1967 a-code fastback my car was produced november 9,1966 i have several 289's and im wondering what casting numbers should i be looking for? (heads, block, intake?). thanks for reading my post.

ok i drilled and fitted the upper cowl today hope to start welding soon, notice i used self tapping screws along the bottom of the windsheild cant get some vise grips in there.

ok i didnt have to work over today so i welded the lower cowl panel, when welding panel jump around so you dont warp the panel.

ok i was only able to work on the mustang about 4 hours this weekend. the cowl is ready to weld in. painted toe board. heres the side cowl fitted i hope to weld it in tomorrow after work.

i hope to start installing the cowl this weekend.

for me its always easier to replace a complete than to patch a panel.take for example to put an 80% quater panel you have to about 3 feet along the body line spot weld the wheel wells, its cheaper, but to repalce the whole qauter panel you only have to spot weld at the roof line inside the...

i cant make up my mind if i want to put an aod or a 5 speed tranny, i will using my 67 fastback for a weekend, cruising around. what do you think?

what's the difference in 67 68 mustang lower control arm and what do you have to do to make the 68's work on the 67 car.

nasagt i hope to have the cowl back together in a couple of weeks after toe board and floorpan repair, rust treatment and paint all exposed areas.

i would use ospho on it (rust converter). you can get it for $22 at ace hardware.
