    Convertible back belt moulding

    The back belt molding on my 'vert is looking really faded these days and I would like to remove all three pieces so that I can repaint them. I do not want to try to refinish them while they are on the car! Me, sandpaper and paint don't mix! Has anyone tried this? If yes, what paint did you use...

    Need some opinions...aluminum heads or 3.73 gears, which should I do next??

    I already ordered it as the C&L CAI kit. I'll see what happens. I may be one of the lucky ones. If not, I'll threw the factory AFM back on and Ebay the C&L AFM. I do need the inlet tube though and the car has been done for almost 2 weeks now. Thanks Redline for the input. Steve

    Thanks for the input Grady! I had to temporarily delay my gears because the rubber hose between the AFM and the TB developed a major crack/tear. I was going to use the C&L inlet tube for $119 however for an extra $150 or so I could get the C&L CAI which comes with the inlet tube, cold air box...

    Egr/ Shortie Header ???

    I don't mean to hijack your thread but I have a quick question on those BBK headers. I have a set of BBK shorties that I haven't installed yet. I bought them off ebay and the headers didn't come with an egr tube or copper nut. Do you need both the tube and nut to install these headers properly...

    We won't get to deep into which cylinder heads to buy but let's say for now AFR 165cc's or a rear end gear change (3.73's) with a new differential (e.g. auburn, etc..)..I might change the axle's too. Thoughts?? Thanks in advance!!

    Who makes a timing cover / water pump bolt kit for 94-95 GT's???

    The snout on the 94-95 water pump is shorter than the 93. Probably for clearence purposes. Make sure you check this very closely when you buy a rebuilt waterpump! Chances are that you'll get a pre-94 pump!! I'm not sure why the timing cover is different. :shrug:

    spark knock??? pinging?

    Check your coil. I had a pinging problem and damn near replaced ever possible engine part that could be a possible culprit including the timing chain, distributor, fuel pump...and many other parts...turned out to be my coil!

    Check your ignition coil.. I had the same problem and replaced the factory coil with a MSD coil and the problem disappeared! Of course, this was after two sets of wires, a distributor, a TFI module, a custom chip....
