    I'd expect that 93 octane is going to squeeze as much as you're going to get out of the motor... unless you go blown or tear the motor down and build it up for higher static compression.

    I did it on the large rhino ramps (gray ones for SUVs) and I'm not a small dude. The hardest part is getting the stock shifter out, after that it's cake. I also was stung on the ear by a wasp that lived underneath my girlfriend's car at the time. :(

    If you can afford it, you should go to the steeda strut mounts - while you're at it. Much sturdier, and won't fail like the stock mounts.

    I definitely agree that it really depends on the tuner, however, I wouldn't suggest that "having a lot more done to a car" automatically implies that it should be faster... we all know that one could very well do many things wrong. :)

    Jay - that's correct. LCAs will knock you out. UCAs are free to replace.

    Go with the Shelby GT kit, (FR3 handling package). Pick any LCA, use poly bushings for a street car, not heim joint. Get an upper control arm that adjusts so you can get the pinion angle back in line. Front camber should be just a skosh over -1 degree. Me, personally, I intend to go with Konis...

    Just read the article in MMFF. The whipple was worth 4rwhp... not worth it for an NA build, unless you're looking for every last ounce and have the money to blow. Perhaps with a fully built bottom end as well. Definitely worth it for the FI guys. I'll pick up the intake when my cash supply...

    Could you open up your stock air box and see if maybe they had replaced your air filter with a piece of plywood? :) Perhaps your stock air filter was REALLY shot.

    Turning off the rear O2 sensors is necessary. Most x-pipes will sound essentially the same, I doubt most (even trained) ears could tell the difference, unless of course one is significantly more or less restrictive than the others. No reason why it shouldn't work with the stock exhaust...

    I know people have stuck 351s in there. There's no difference between a V6 and a GT in the engine bay, aside from what's actually IN the engine bay. Probably a k-member swap to put a 4.6 into a V6 chassis. Anyhoo, I'm not sure of the absolute dimensions of the bay, definitely not sure...
