    I had wheel spin with very mild throttle. I know how the diff is supposed to react from the 1st 35k miles I put on the car. I believed the advertising too and didn't think I needed the 6$ friction modifier. I was wrong.

    I used the RP in the diff and trans. I regretted not adding the friction modifier. It got wheel slippage in turns. I wound up adding the ford friction modifier after a while. I urge you to add the modifier. But it is more exciting to drive in the rain without it LOL

    in 2007 the stock diff ratio was 3.31 and you could pay a bit for the 3.55 upgrade

    I agree with the above. Also, they sell oxygenated fuel in my area during winter months. I remove a degree of timing (global) in the winter.

    What kind of times are you getting @5500? I would think shifting at 1000rpm would yield max ET. :D

    trouble hooking rubber to pavement...

    I would also remove the front swabar and mount in addition to some DRs. It's a bit squirly on a daily driver but it sure helps the hook.

    E-Brake stuck

    I have the same issue. The ebrake cables fill with water and freeze. This problem was resolved by Ford before my car was built. Yet somehow I still have the issue. I picked up a new pair of cables and clips for 150$. Hoping it helps for at least this winter.

    I run the 4.10s @ about 2400-2500 @ 70 I get 24ish mpg on "winter 87 octane" with heavy snowtires. I have stock exhaust and get no drone. I commute 100 miles/day and thought I might regret the 4.10s. I don't...lots of fun.

    tweaker, I'll power shift at 6200-6400. I typically do 6200 on 1-2 and 2-3 and 6400 3-4. I launch at 2500rpm on street tires and 5k on drag rubber The 2 biggest things I had to work on to get sub 13sec times was traction at launch ( needed tires and front swaybar removed) and power...

    Differential Fluid Change

    I would be interested to know what makes them say that organic oil provides better protection. I'll be sticking with the instruction of Ford and the sticker on my differential. I'm just glad to have this resolved before winter. I could see this putting me in a tailspin on snow or ice.

    does it look at all like the stock endlink? On the stock link there is a hex end on the bolt you can get a socket on
