blow off valve for saleen supercharger???

My guess is that your excessive engine movement is pulling the tube off, you won't build up pressure in the upper manifold on a screw type blower. Dan

    Door Arm Rest in leather

It's part of the premier package (not to be confused with premium) IIRC. Leather armrests, leather diamond cut inserts in the doors, leather center console armrest, leather dash. Basically just like the GT500 interior. Dan

Suspension Qs.. Front end Groaning & Rear hitting hard

The rattling in the rear is likely due to the watts link, specifically the rod ends in the watts. What happens in a rod end with a teflon lining is the teflon gets packed out by a few microns, giving the ball in the joint just enough room to cause a rattle. High quality ends last longer, but...

How to program a Predator to tell your car you have a custom exhaust?

I don't believe Diablo has those options open on their handheld, you will need a custom tune from a tuner that turns off the rear O2s. Dan

    0-60 times

How are you timing it. If you're doing it with a stop watch your times could be half a second off or more pretty easily. Dan

UPDATE to my oil pressure issue

If you start the car with the key (no light), then turn it off, then start it with the button and the light comes on it's probably a wiring issue. Dan

    oil pressure issue?

The only times you should have a delay in oil pressure build up is after an oil change or after the car has sit for a long period of time (a week or longer). There is nothing in a tune that will change anything about the oil pressure. If it persists, take it to the dealer, assuming you're still...

Photos from 21st Annual Mustang Roundup in San Angelo, TX

I'm digging the new GT500 wheels, those are pretty hot. Dan

    Swapping Engines

I believe the main difference is motor mounts. The heads should mate up NP, though you may have to use timing chain tensioners from a mix of years. Not sure about the front cover either. Dan

best way to get rid of spiders in and underneath the car?

You can buy the non-residue foggers, but I'm not sure how effective they would be. Dan

    4.10 vs 3.73 gears.... AGAIN.....Road Courses

It depends on a few things. First, while your cars top speed is probably in the 155 range, even on a longest of straits you probably would only push 130 (if that). In which case, with the stock tire size, you'd probably be ok with 4.10s, though you would have to push over 6500 rpm to get there...

    Oil additives

A good synthetic oil at 5k intervals is fine, that should easily keep our engines clean and running smoothly for hundreds of thousands of miles. But the OP ask about additives, and Auto-Rx is the only one I can suggest (as it's actually a sound product, and not snake oil). There has been some...

    Oil additives

Very true, and the 5w-20 is probably a slightly "better" oil in that it will likely need fewer friction modifiers to achieve its dual viscosity. Dan

    Oil additives

If you look at the post I quoted, they guy is using 10w-30, I was saying 5w-30 has better cold start protection.:nice: Dan

    Oil additives

Do you have a link to this? Also, I think I would run a 5-30, just for better cold start protection. Dan

    Oil additives

Z-max is supposedly just tinted mineral oil, AMSOIL - Just say NO to oil additives The only additive I run, or would suggest running, is auto-rx. As an additive (3 ounces per oil change), it is reported to help prevent sludge build and extend oil service life. I wouldn't suggest it if it wasn't...

    buying a supercharger

The Magnacharger is the 5th gen MP112 (unless they used the 4th gen in early models). The old eatons are easily the loudest I've heard, though the TVS is supposed to be one of the quietest. I happen to like the whipple, I think its noise level is pretty well balanced with the average catless...

    WS6 VS 07 stang

Here's the thing, catbacks on the F-bodys does a lot because they replace a restrictive Y-pipe and a restrictive muffler, actually pretty much every piece of their exhaust is restrictive. They also get a significant amount of power from the lid and filter, and that 01 has the ls6 intake on it...

    more supercharger (twin screw) questions

People are pushing huge numbers (Klaw's numbers above) and running as high as 9's on the whipple 2.3L. I think the 3.4L whipple has a pretty small market because of this, you're getting to an extreme amount of power at that point. Dan
