    changing pinion seal

    I now have to change the pinion seal on the diff...I went back to the gu y that did rear end for me and told me to mark the nut and count the turns that it takes to remove,and put back same exact place and use loctite and silicone to assure it stays in place.is this correct?

    probably standard TKO.its not pro shifted.I got a massive 6" cowl for 25.00 by glastek so I think I'm covered.there are Cleveland blocks with sbf bell housing patterns?Can I get a 460 with a SBF patter?or something big like that.408?from a 351...Turbo seems the most reasonable since this car...

    How much noise is to much noise.This is my first locker,and man to me its noisy as a mofo.Somtimes it sounded like a ratchet(clicking) all the way down the block till I gave it a little gas then CLUNK!

    Vacuum line to this?

    if that car has a mass air meter DO NOT put vacuum line to that.That is a barometric meter,and must read barometric pressure.If the car is speed density it is hooked up to intake manifold.

    i believe my neutral safty switch is the problem.I'm going to over ride it.now the question is I can get 12v when key is in the crank position,but when i let go and it sits in the on position it has 5v.Can I do that?
