    Get a Pro-M PIH with a '93 computer. It will eliminate the tip in retard and absolutely cure the pinging. This will stir some debate about the worth of the PIH compared with the tweecer and/or a custom chip, but it works!!

    I use fox vc's with FMS 1.6 (blue) rockers and I had to remove the baffle. The fox vc will have to be 'slightly' notched near the #1 cylinder to clear a bolt on the alternator. This is easily done with a dremel-type tool.

    The clanking may be a loose rocker arm. It happened to me, twice. I eventually used some locktite. The chirping noise may by the clutch pilot bearing/bearing retainer. Check to see if the chirping goes away after slightly depressing the clutch pedal.
