    That didn't take long. Damn ignition switch (or the lock cylinder). I wiggled the key and everything started working again.

    All of the sudden today my turn signals quit working. I also noticed that my reverse lights and rear window defroster were not working. Definitely a problem at the fuse except the fuse was good. After putting a meter on the fuse socket there is no power. Any thoughts from the electrical gurus?

    Braille makes a 16 volt 9lb for under a grand too. I love lithium. I'm working on moving the battery to the back too.

    The one I got is around $2100, but they have one called the GU1R that is around $500 and is plenty powerful for most v8s. Only weighs 6 lbs. and is they put out around 770 CA. I've seen the test machine myself. The initial cost can sting a little, but they pay themselves off.

    So I relocated the AM gauge to the stock gauge sender location. Working perfect! I am still curious as to why the intake is much cooler on the back side. Maybe an air pocket or something? It worked perfect in that rear location for years without a problem.

    New gauge installed...still not fixed. I don't get it. The gauge has been in that same location for years without a problem. Now this weird stuff. So I assume the gauge is reading correctly. How is the temp at the back of the intake 20-30 degrees lower than everywhere else?!?!

    Hey HISSIN50 do you know what the port on the back side of a holley systemax 2 lower intake manifold is for? Thats where my gauge sender has always been. Something tells me it was intended for something else.
