I know I hear the crackling from the exhaust but also when after going WOT and then slowing down quickly I hear a pop and I have a friend who saw some spark I guess so is that from engine.

I'm curious to why my stangs pops when slowing down only. I have a 2000 GT with a off road mid pipe and cat back. cold air ported throttle. Some of my friends thinks its not a good thing and hope someone on here can educate me thanks.

put 5qts with 1qt senthetic and get a floor jack with stands to change oil I do it all the time not hard.

You could go with 3v heads ported on a built motor not to hard to do and more N/A hp. There is a video on youtube of some one who has one in his 2000gt built motor and 3v heads at 350hp.
