considering this isn't my daily driver and i don't plan on driving it in the cold in no way will an egr valve improve mpg letting hot exhaust back into the intake. i'm trying to get rid of it so it looks better and is easier to get around. one less sensor to deal with. thanks for the help. the...

89 gt 2980 with 8pt cage, 10# nos bottle, fiberglass hood, big n lil draglites, no ac, no smog, c4, carbed, and all the factory interior nothing else stripped. weighed it at the scrap yard their scales are frequintly calibrated to keep em legal
that belt routing is a good idea bc underdrive pulleys use a larger water pump pulley and that will make rubbing worse. i used the smog pulley cuase i bought it off a guy for $20
this is true i was looking at a variety of heads. afr185's, and canfeilds, and a guy at jpc recommended trick flow 185 cnc's. depends on how much i want to spend really. alot either way and a big decision when ur stuck with all that in them
not tryin to knock ya just curious. things that work on urs to go faster works on mine, tryin to go faster. Its not what u use to do it, its that ur doin it. whatever it takes to get the job done! Its BAD ASS!
question is how much are they shaved? what cc r the combustion chambers to bring up the compression? thats what happened with my friends. even so its bad. wonder what it would run if u didnt gut it. mine is fully stock minus a shifter, a cage, and a bottle of juice (as for gutting it out)
i believe it i have a friend with a notch and a stock bottom end (250,000mi on it) tf stage 2 cam, anceint tfs heads shaved and ported, tubular gt40 intake, lt's,and flows and turns 6.80's in the 1/8th thats our closest track, no 1/4 within 200mi luanches at 5,000 how bout u?
