    i put in a new distributor because of a no spark issue...timed it and drove..still had miss at 2-2500....unplugged the msd box and drove and it seemed to be smooth at that rpm...plugged back in and miss is back....fuel pressure with the new distributor is normal now for some dumb reason...

    thanks for the reply...did a comp test...all cyls were between 120-130....when i put the timing chain in i checked valves...none were bent and all rockers adjusted ok....guess its possible a rod could be bent but think id have other issues then. tonight i tried starting it..it fired then...

    i thought it was intake too...i selaed it once...i tore it all back appart and resealed it...still have the problem.. all my ports are either sealed or have hoses that are new off them... does anyone have a good vacuum schematic of where everything goes?? i have a haynes manual but no vacuum...

    i just put a new tps on,new tstat, now my temp reads normal. i have 24lb injectors, 40psi set fuel pressure. i fixed a bunch of the little problems except this one that has me stumped. when i start the car when its cold its like a chokeless carb..i have to keep feeding it throttle untill it...

    goofy idleing problem

    well i replace all injectors,lower and upper intake gaskets, fixed a ground and set timing to 13 degrees, set fuel to 40 psi...drove ..ran like a raped ape...shut off , restartd idled really low, shut off...started again idled good....repeated idled low, when hitting gas hard it backfired...

    the hose gets warm but not hot...pulled the tsat out tonight and i had to really push hard to get the spring to move..like it was stuuck tight... also on the intake at the front there is a sensor that a little elbow goes on..believe its for the gauge...there is also one on the rear of the intake...
