    I finally got it working. I assumed the ground wasn't making a connection, so I adjusted the middle in on the new light, bent it up a little, plugged it in and it worked!

    It appears the issue is somewhere on the headlight assembly itself. I connected by old bulb and it worked perfectly. Then took dim headlight unit and connected it to the other side and it worked perfectly. So whats going on?
