Ex Chevy guy- I absolutely LOVE my 2018 GT!

    I traded in my 2010 Camaro 2SS for a 2018 Ecoboost Mustang. I couldn't be happier!

Worth upgrading to a v8 model?

If you are on the fence...I think it would be worthwhile to ditch the V6 and "upgrade" to an Ecoboost. Yes, it really is an upgrade with 310 HP and 390 Ft.Lbs of torque. And...it will save you some coin.

Felt Type Underbody Passenger Side Splash Cover / Shield Interfering with Installation of Jacking Rails

Install of the BMR jacking rails was easy after the felt panel was removed. I did have the car backed up on ramps and jackstands supporting the front of the car. It would have been very difficult to install the jacking rails without the car up in the air...

Felt Type Underbody Passenger Side Splash Cover / Shield Interfering with Installation of Jacking Rails

90sickfox: Thought I would have to pull the interior carpet to remove what I thought were screws holding the panel from inside the car. They were in fact welded studs on the bottom of the floor pan with "quick nuts" on them. I ended up removing the panel. According to people I queried about...

Felt Type Underbody Passenger Side Splash Cover / Shield Interfering with Installation of Jacking Rails

I have a 2018 Ecoboost Mustang that I am attempting to install BMR Low Profile Jacking Rails on. I got the car on jack stands and found what appears to be a cover made of a felt type material that runs the length of the passenger side door, inboard of the pinch welds that is held in place with...

    Exhaust drone with Mac Mufflers

That's because MAC doesn't make them. They are made by Pacifica Performance which is a sister company to MAC.

    Exhaust drone with Mac Mufflers

The only way to fix the drone is to get rid of the MACs. Get you a set of Boomtubes and be done with it! :)

Went to see the 2010 Camaro

Man, that sounds like you are describing my 2006 Mustang. Have you had to replace the seat back release lever yet when it breaks (speaking of cheap plastic knobs)? I have, it's fu*kin' $40! I also had to replace the rear end due to gear noise. Or how 'bout the felt scratching the window tint...

Went to see the 2010 Camaro

I liked it. I looked at an yellow SS here in TX at a local dealership. I was very impressed. I loved the interior. It harkens back to 1969, especially if you get the console gauges. I loved the amount of room in the engine bay. You could easily install longtubes with no problem...

For those of you with oversized wheels

I'm running 20" Cragar SS wheels on my ride. They're 20 x 9 inch wheels. The factory 17" silver bullitts look retarded next to these and I would never go back to them after running the 20's. The minimum I would ever go back to is an 18" (fanblade) wheel.

    WANT TO LOWER!!

A good alignment shop will have adjusted camber bolts before. It's very easy. Have them do it.

    WANT TO LOWER!!

I lowered my car with Ford "K" springs. I also have aftermarket Tokico "Blue" struts (non-adjustable). All I needed were some camber bolts to adjust for camber and all is good. The axle shifted 1/4" to the driver's side from lowering. But this didn't affect handling and is visually hard to...

    20" wheels

I'm running Ford "K" springs with 20" Cragars. Absolutely no rub.

How much did you get for trading in your 05-07 mustang gt?

I bought my '06 Automatic GT from a Toyota dealer for $13,500 with 96,000 miles on her.

    Exhaust

I've run the Cherry Bombs... The IMCO "Cherry Bomb" mufflers for these cars are chambered. Both the "Pro Series" and "Extreme Series". I purchased the Cherry Bomb "Pro" series. They sounded awesome outside the car but there was too much drone at cruising speed. Nothing like the MACs which...

GTA axle back mufflers good choice?

Yep...that and the crappy welds were why I got rid of mine. No much louder than stock.:(

    Stress points?

I've got fresh Ford Racing "K" springs and I've bottomed out in the rear against the bumpstops going over a small dip at about 40mph. I am also running the Tokico non-adjustable "blues" front and rear. The Eibach "pro" kit is the same as the FR kit. So...in the rear you are bottoming out...

Anyone’s GT leak in the rain???

My '06 hardtop did the same thing. After a 12 hour soaking rain, I got into the car, pulled forward and it all sloshed out onto passenger side floor from the SJB (Smart Junction Box) area. I pulled up the TSB, read it thoroughly, went down to the local Ford Dealer and purchased a tube of...

$13,500 for my 2006 GT Automatic with IUP and 96,000 miles about a year ago.
