K so it might seem like a dumb question but I dont know what to do. K so on my SCT when it ask for octane rating it says 87, 91, and premium, well I live in Las Vegas and the best we have out here is 91 premium. So my question is should I tune it for 91 or premium?

I did check somne of them out and thanks to those I've stopped worrying about something being wrong with my car. According to this calculator ( DA Calculator - Density Altitude Calculator - DragTimes.com ) my car would be running 14.102 @ 102.019 MPH @ sea level. I'm not liking this higher...

ok that makes sense but do my times make sense? should I be running that much slower from a 2000 ft elevation change? also I didnt mention before that my 60 ft times were pretty much the same as usual if that helps.

Ok so I went to "The Strip" tonight at LVMS, which is at 2,100 feet above sea level where I ran a best time of 15.0 at 95 mph :notnice:. I was talking to a guy in the pits and he said that it's the altitude change, thats why I was running slower than used to. Back in VA at Richmond Dragway...

when I lived in VA I would always run 5w20 synthetic (motorcraft) of course but now that I live in Vegas I run 5w30 synthetic cuz it's so f****** hot here! So if you live somewhere that gets 105+ in the summer I recommend 5w30 for better protection.

I have a set of motive 3.90s in my 02 GT and I love them!! I dont have any problems with them and there is no whine at all. I was unsure about which gears to get but I'm glad I went with the 3.90s

I have a friend who has a ss s/c and we raced one time when my 02 gt was stock from a 35 mph roll and i walked on him pretty good. By the time he said he let off I was atleast 3+ car lengths ahead of him.

I'm gonna go ahead and put it out there since nobody else has, 3.90s are a good way to go if you can't decide. Now I know FRPP doesnt make them but I have motive 3.90s in my stang and they are awesome!! I have no problems with whine or anything of nature, and they really woke up the car!!
