    i agree, my 89 had to have a metal one cuz the plastic ones stripped every 3 or 4 months, a ford racing adjustable was only about $79 in '03, get it if your pressure plate and throw ou bearing aren't the problem...well worth it...

    Hey, I have an 89 5.0, it leaked power steering fluid, and long story short, I removed the Rack and Pinion to replace the lines. I have everything connected back up now and when I run the car, the wheel pulls all the way one way on it's own, then all the way the other way...I have no idea why...
